New: Custom Reporting for Exclusive Sources
Visual Analytics Reporting for Discord, Facebook & Instagram
Quickly and easily pull strategic analytics reports for channels like Discord, Facebook, and Instagram through the new addition of Exclusive Sources reporting within Spiketrap’s Custom Reporting Portal.
Exclusive Sources refer to user-owned profiles integrated within Spiketrap at the user’s discretion. Through this optional integration, users gain access to data analysis and insights for those sources (available exclusively to their company’s account).
With the launch of Custom Reporting for Exclusive Sources, users can now take these insights even further – with the option to run analysis on specific areas in relation to the Exclusive Source and its connected Spiketrap Monitor.Â

The Value of Custom Reports for Exclusive Sources
Users will find analytics for integrated sources under an “Exclusive” tab within the connected Monitor – joining readily available metrics for sources like Twitch, Reddit, Twitter, and more.

Within each exclusive source dashboard, users find an interactive series of powerful data visualizations around engagement, sentiment, brand safety, and conversation trends, customizable by date and channel, where relevant.
Note: Exclusive Source analytics are only available to members of the company account that permissioned the data (that’s what makes it exclusive!). Other accounts with access to the given Monitor will only see insights for public sources.
The custom reporting portal becomes a vital tool for users looking for data analysis around specific topics or related monitors.
Once users choose their queries — as they do with other custom reporting tools on our platform — Spiketrap will render the results via robust data visualizations of engagement, sentiment, brand safety, conversations, and more.
Notably, reports are saved in the portal, where they can be viewed, updated, exported, and duplicated.

Custom Reporting Portal Overview
Launched in January 2022, Spiketrap’s Custom Reporting Portal introduced a consolidated reporting dashboard that allows and empowers users to:
- Run new queries and find previously completed reports across sources
- Compute standard Spiketrap data visualizations using custom data queries
- Explore a specific aspect of the conversation
- Dive deep into individual monitors or streams
- Compile cohesive insights across multiple streams
This portal supplements the intuitive monitor and influencer analytics dashboards readily available on the Spiketrap platform.
Additional Custom Reporting Types
Along with Custom Reporting for Exclusive Sources, the following reporting options are also available through the portal:
Single Monitor
Single Monitor reporting allows users to create a robust analytics report on one specific entity within the Spiketrap knowledge graph. The report output delivers cohesive insight across all public asynchronous sources (ie: non-exclusive and non-streaming channels like Twitter, forums, news, reviews, & more).
Single Stream
Single Stream reporting allows users to create a report on one specific stream segment. The report output analyzes all chat messages from a specific stream segment, and delivers sentiment, engagement, brand safety, and conversation analytics.
Stream Cohort
Stream Cohort reporting allows users to create a report analyzing a selection of stream segments or creators. The report output includes analytics on the conversations connected to each selected stream, computing both an aggregate view for all metrics, as well as the ability to compare and select stream segments.
